ROOT ANDROID LG P350/ ROOT LG P350 AFTER SOFTWARE UPDATE

Sunday, October 30, 2011 | 2comments

Rooting is a process by which you can access system files of your Android OS. After rooting , you can install applications which require access to these system files. It becomes necessary if you wish to customize your Android device and also install custom ROMs like CyanogenMod ROMs which are highly customizable and have a better performance than the stock ROMs. After rooting your phone you can install any applications, games and remove unwanted system applications , even change the default rom and add custom rom. Here   my Phone is LG P350 and it was running on android 2.1 froyo. I am rooted my phone and add custom rom (android Honycomp).

* However please note that your warranty would be void after you root your device or install custom ROMs. But this is not irreversible. You can always roll back to the stock ROM. The second method mentioned below to root LG Optimus Me after firmware update lets you go back to stock ROM on LG Optimus Me P350. Just don’t root it in the second method and you will have the stock ROM + warranty .

Root LG P350
  • At first download Gingerbreak from here and save this into your memory card.
  • Enable USB Debugging by navigating to Settings->Applications->Development->Enable USB Debugging
  • Make sure your memory card is loaded.
  • install  Gingerbreak on your phone and click on Root phone.
But note one thing here this method is not working if you are update your phone software using LG Software update. In this case you can use this method that given below.

Root LG P350  After Software update
  • At first download KDZ Updater from here. It is a zip file. Extract all the contents of the zip file and run msxml.msi
  • Next step Download LG Drivers if you haven’t.
  • Since you have updated your firmware, you need to download official LG Stock Rom for P350.
  • After you do this, open KDZ Updater.exe from the downloaded zip file in first step.
  • Select  the following options in KDZ Updater:
 Type: 3GQCT

Phone Mode: DIAG

  • Select the  KDZ file using browser button is the one you downloaded in step
  •  Click on the image below for a better view.
  • Remove your phone battery and re-insert it. Hold the Volume UP+Volume Down+Power Button together. You will see a yellow screen and Emergency mode written on it.
  • Connect your phone to the PC via USB
  • Click on Launch software update button in the KDZ Updater.
  • If everything goes well, you will see “Finished” written in the log screen and your phone will change to switched off mode from Emergency mode.
(If you want tutorial video just click here)

codes. Some of them do fairly basic, practical things,
while others can be used to perform complete alterations,
such as factory resets. Lest start from here:

~The code *#*#4636#*#* shows the following information
about your phone and battery:
