Talking tom cat for PC and Mobile

Saturday, May 26, 2012 | 0 comments

Talking Tom Cat thefunniest app for your Android Smartphone. Tomis your pet cat,
feed him milk and he will respondsto touch and repeats youin a funny voice.
You can pet him, poke him orgrab his tail . You can also interact with TalkingTom
Cat through the touchscreen. Whatever you will say she will repeat it in her
Voice you can run this in your pc using swf player which is freely available
on internet. #description may like you As Pinky & Perky and Alvin & The
Chipmunks have so comprehensivelyproven over the years, high-pitched
voices are amusing. No matter what age group you happen to reside in, the irresistibly cute tone of these characters is sure to elicit a smile.

Talking Tom Cat on Android is a fairly basic application which seeks
to cause the same degree of mirth by takinga recording of your voice
and applying that all-important high-pitched filter. Using the app is easy.
You merely talk into yourphone’s mic and Tom – the on-screen moggy -
cups his ear to show that he’s listening. When you’re finished he recites
your mutterings inhis own adorable voice, even going as far as to mouth
 the words as he speaks.

You can record up to 30seconds of speech and even upload the results
to YouTube for posterityor email them to a friend. Superficial touches
such as interaction with the touch screen are also present. Tapping Tom
repeatedly on the head will cause him to fall over as if he’s been punched,
whilstrubbing his tummy will keep him contented, resulting in a purring sound.
Other parts of hisbody are also interactive, such as his feet and tail.

You can also tap a glass at his feet to instigate an animated sequence where
the receptacle is filled with fresh milk which Tom then gleefully consumes.
That’s all there really is to it, but to be honest Talking Tom Cat’s voice
recording feature is enough to warrant a download on its own. While Talking
Tom Cat isa pretty juvenile application it has a tremendous amount of charm -
just put this in the hands of a child andyou’ll see how magical it is. It also has
more amusinguses such as candidly recording people in conversation at work
andthen playing back their speech – something thatis likely to cause plenty of
chortling – not to mention aggravation - in offices up and down the country.

Talking Tom Cat is offered for free but is supported by adverts which do tend
to sully the otherwise excellent presentation of the app. It would also have been
nice to see a few more voice types thrown in forgood measure; there are
other voice-changing apps available for smartphones so it’s clearly possible.
However it’s hard to grumble when there’s so much fun on offer. Talking Tom
Cat is a throwaway download which won’t enrich your professional life or
make your day-to-day businessany easier. However it will bring a smile to
your face whenever you boot it up,and that has to count for something.

Coming :Android 6.0 , Key Lime Pie

Tuesday, May 22, 2012 | 0 comments

We’ve already heard about Jelly Bean rumours and that it’s supposed launch in thesecond quarter of 2012. Now, we’ve got some news about the version that is supposed to come after Jelly Bean. According to the Verge, the name of the version after Jelly Bean is going to be Key Lime Pie. The site had received this information from a very ‘reliable source’ that mentioned that Key Lime Pie was indeed going to be Google’s next operating system, after Jelly Bean. That same source had correctly leaked the name Jelly Bean as well, so there could be a substantial amount of truth to this rumour. Obviously, things are quite under the wraps about Jelly Bean as well, so we’re not going to know much about what Key Lime Pie is going to bring to Android users.

Android 5.0 Jelly Bean news: Release date, features and more

Jelly-bean-flavoured name rumours have been swirling around Android 5.0 since last September. And in the clearest hint yet that this is indeed the name of choice, Google was dishing out jelly beans to conference goers at the exit of its Android-themed Mobile World Congress stand this February. Wink-wink-nudge-nudge.

Now get an official, rubber stamped confirmation from Google that Jelly Bean is the name for Android 5.0 but don't bet your piggy bank on outlandish alternatives such as Jammy Dodger or Jam Roly Poly. (For more on the cross-cultural currants of Android naming conventions, see my Pinterest board -- which imagines an alternative reality in which versions of the OS are given British English dessert names -- such as Android Eccles Cake, Android Iced Bun and Android Plum Duff.) Release date So when is Jelly Bean likely to land?

Google hasn't made an official announcement -- but considering ICS arrived in autumn 2011, and is still the exception rather than the rule on Android devices, it seems pretty unlikely Jelly Bean will arrive sooner than this autumn -- despite Google previously keeping to a roughly six-monthly update schedule. However, Jelly Bean could just get an airing at Google's annual I/O developer conference, which takes place at the end of June, so keep your eyes peeled for some potentially meaty news in about a month.

Features What do we know about Jelly Bean's features? Once again, not much since nothing has been officially confirmed -- Google wasn't handing out feature lists with those MWC jelly beans. Of course, that hasn't stopped the rumour mill churning out a few sugar-coated nuggets of its own. One juicy but perhaps unlikely rumour is that Jelly Bean will run Windows 8 -- in a dual-boot scenario that would allow Droid lovers to switch between Android and Windows. The theory behind this cake-and-eat-it-scenario is that it would give Android lovers the on-the-go versatility and simplicity of Droid, along with the power and depth of Windows for more involved tasks.

However, many Android fans would probably say the OS is just as powerful and deep as Windows. And mixing open source free-to-use software with a proprietary OS is definitely an unfortunate crossing of the streams that suggests if there is a dual-boot option, it may be just that -- an option, rather than an 'as standard' feature. In any case, Google's Chrome OS is a more likely candidate for dual-booting action. Last year Google's then chairman Eric Schmidt told MWC delegates that Android and Chrome OS will converge -- when the time is right. So perhaps Jelly Bean netbooks could be on the cards. Another mooted update to Android involves adding more gestures to the interface.

Last year Google filed a patent that used a series of letter gestures to act as short-cuts -- drawing the letter W, for instance, could be used as a quick way to fire up Wikipedia. But reading the runes in patent filing has about as much predictive power as telling fortunes via tea leaves. Companies frequently patent all manner of outlandish inventions just on the off-chance, or to stop other companies patenting similar inventions. Some patent filings are even decoys -- deliberately designed to ' put people off the true development scent. So while more gestures in Jelly Bean seems likely, exactly what these will be and do isn't yet clear.

A more widespread prediction for Jelly Bean is that Google's Chrome for Android browser -- available now to ICS users -- becomes the standard offering in the OS, rather than an additional download via Google Play. Another best guess is that Google will seek to compete with Apple's Siri voice assistant with its own mouthy interface addition. And many Android users are also anticipating some kind of file manager application, to help manage what are becoming increasingly complex media machines, along with (hoped for) improvements on the battery and power management front, and a speedier way to get the latest version of Android (which may just be wishful thinking).

APK MANAGER

Apk Manager 4.9 - Makes Modifying Ur Apk A Breeze (Windows/Linux)

Daneshm90(@xda) has written a simple script to ease the process of editing apks. Got a lot of downloads so thought its in demand

Whether you're doing basic image editing or editing the smali or xml files, on average u have to use (Brut.all or JF's smali/baksmali) awesome tool to extract the apk, edit it, then sign the apk and then adb push/install it. This process is quite tiresome if you are testing a method that needs fine tweaking.

This script should make the process a LOT smoother.
Theres an option of compiling/signing/installing all in one step

Thanks:
Goes to Brut.all for his awesome tool.
Goes to JF for ofcourse, smali/baksmali
Goes to farmatito for porting this script to linux

Features:
- Extract, Zip apk's.
- Optimize pngs (ignores .9.pngs)
- Zipalign apks
- Sign apks
- Push to specific location on phone
- Incorporates brut.all's apktool
- Pull apk from phone into modding environment.
- Batch optimize apk (Zipalign, optipng,or both)
- Quick sign an apk (Batch mode supported)
- Batch Ogg optimization
- Compression level selector (monitor status above menu)
- Batch install apk from script (option 16)
- Logging on/off has been removed. Instead a log.txt is created which logs the activities of the script organized using time/date headers
- User can change the max java heap size (only use if certain large apks get stuck when decompiling/compiling apks) (Option 19)
- Improved syntax of questions/answers
- Error detection. Checks if error occured anytime u perform a task, and reports it
- Read log (Option 20)
- U can now set this script as ur default application for apks. When u do, if u double click any apk it will install it for u.
- Supports batch installation, so if u drag multiple apks into the script (not while its running) it will install them all for u. U can ofcourse drag a single apk as well
- Added framework dependent decompiling (For non propietary rom apks). (Option 10). Checks whether the dependee apk u selected is correct.
- Allows multiple projects to be modified, switch to and from.
- Allows to modify system apk's using apktool but ensures maximum compatibility in terms of signature / manifest.xml
- Stuff i forgot i guess

Instructions (Windows):
- Place apk in appropriate folder (Any filename will work, if running for first time folders will not be there, you must run and then the folders will be created)
- Run script
- Minimize the script
- Edit files inside the project folder
- Maximize the script

Instructions (Linux):
- Place apk in appropriate folder (Any filename will work, if running for first time folders will not be there, you must run and then the folders will be created)
- Open terminal and change-directory to apkmanager (Easiest way is to type "cd ")
- Chmod 755 Script.sh
- Chmod 755 all files apps inside other folder (thanks for the tip bkmo )
- Run script by typing ./Script.sh
- Minimize the script
- Edit files inside the out folder
- Maximize the script

Requirements:
Java
Adb

Got problems ?

1. Make sure your path has no spaces
2. Your filename has no wierd characters
3. Java/adb are in your path
4. It's not a proprietary rom's apk (aka Sense,Motorola,Samsung) (If u are, then use option 11 and drag the required framework, eg com.htc.resources, twframework-res...etc)
5. It's not a themed apk (if it is, expect .9 png errors, use as close to stock as possible)
6. Look at the log to know whats happening
